An aspiring young actor, James O'Leary is currently in the process of finishing his final year at University for the Creative Arts, Farnham, hoping to earn a BA degree in Acting & Performance.
James has been studying performing arts for six years. Prior to attending UCA he studied Performing Arts at West Herts college for three years studying a variety of theatre styles . This earnt him a DDM graded extended diploma in Performing Arts. Since studying at UCA he has trained and practised many different skills and acting styles which includes improvisation, stage combat, audience participation and Shakespeare. Many of them have been used in a lot of shows that he has performed at the Farnham maltings.
He has worked on several big screen productions over the past four years. The latest productions he's worked on due for release this year include the final series of "The Crown" and the Marvel movie "The Marvels".
In addition to acting, James has learnt a lot about filmmaking during his three years at UCA and has developed a interest in writing and directing for screen in the future. During his second and third year at UCA he performed in musical productions organised by their Musical Theatre Society.
Outside of acting he enjoys watching films, playing tennis, listening to 80's music, travelling and writing story ideas. He is also a massive Star Wars fan.
